Senate Bill 1389 provides liability protection for property owners who allow their property to be used as a polling place. Currently, property owners may face civil liability if a voter is injured on their property during an election. This bill limits that liability, making it easier to recruit private property owners to host polling locations β an important election administration need as Idaho's population grows.
