What S 1389 Does

Senate Bill 1389 provides liability protection for property owners who allow their property to be used as a polling place. Currently, property owners may face civil liability if a voter is injured on their property during an election. This bill limits that liability, making it easier to recruit private property owners to host polling locations β€” an important election administration need as Idaho's population grows.

Co-sponsored by Sen. Kelly Anthon (R-Rupert, President Pro Tempore) and Sen. Mark Harris (R-Soda Springs, Asst. Majority Leader). Both are tracked by The Idaho Ledger.
